More than 15 years after the opening to our users, SOLEIL takes stock of the important results obtained thanks to the beamlines during this period. Thus, we invite you to discover a series of thematic brochures presenting the major scientific contributions of Synchrotron SOLEIL to several society challenges. After the Medical Diagnosis and Prognosis, the Agro-Food sector, the Quantum Materials, Astrophysics & Astrochemistry and the Viruses, the 6th issue is about SOLEIL’s contribution to the research on Energy Transition.
A key contributor to the energy transition, SOLEIL uses its advanced analysis techniques, from infrared to hard X-rays, to explore complex materials and interfaces. Working hand in hand with national and European research programs, SOLEIL contributes to developing sustainable innovations that respond to global energy and recycling challenges.
With a focus on...
- Diversifying energy sources to find alternatives to hydrocarbons.
- Hydrogene, white, green or black, il has everyone's attention.
- After production, consumption. Unsing energy as responsibly as possible.
- In search of catalysts, chemistry's holy grail.
