Characteristics of the beam
SOLEIL's storage ring was designed to satisfy all categories of users, first by the choice of the nominal energy for machine operation, but also thanks to the five possible operating modes.
Parameters of the accelerators
SOLEIL's Machine consists of 2 accelerators (a liear one, the LINAC, and a circular one, the Booster) and a storage ring, which is in fact a polygon, with a perimeter of 354 m.
