International Day of Light

For this second edition, SOLEIL opens its doors for an evening of visits and discoveries, Thursday, May 16, from 18h to 22h.

In the program:

- Visit of the research facility

- Workshops around different types of light: visible, ultraviolet, infrared, X-rays

- Viewing of 360° virtual reality movie of inaccessible SOLEIL locations

- Discovery of our periodic table of life-size elements, on the occasion of the International Year of the Periodic Table of the Elements

- Free registration with this form (http://colloques.synchrotron-soleil.fr/PORTEOUVERTE?PAGE=JPO)

The visit lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Departure every 30 minutes between 18h and 20h30.

Important : the tours will be guided in French only

Attention: the visit is forbidden to people carrying electronic medical implants (Pacemaker, insulin pump, ...) and to children under 10 years. The number of places per time slot of 1 hour 30 is limited to 12 people.
