A 200 meter long extension was added to the SOLEIL synchrotron circular building. It shelters two new beamlines, Nanoscopium and ANATOMIX (selected in the Equipex 2010 call for projects). Operational soon, they will perform very high resolution imaging, in conditions of extreme sensitivity. 
From 2013 these beamlines will allow academic and industrial scientific communities working in the fields of life sciences, biomedical and advanced materials, to carry out research they were not able to conduct so far.
