Fête de la Science 2018
Every year since 1992, the Fête de la Science is in full swing in all the cities of France, and even in Oversea Territories! This year, its 27th edition runs from October 6 to 14, with several thousand different events.
From October 12th to 14th, SOLEIL will be present at the Paris-Saclay Science Village, with the now unmissable Atelier du Pr Lampion. On the program: fluorescence, laser, polarizers and mystery! Visitors to our booth will also have the pleasure of learning how SOLEIL works with our colleagues, or even to visit SOLEIL in 360° thanks to Virtual Reality!
We will not be the only ones in this village, as there are more than 60 workshops, created and animated by 22 partners of the Plateau: science outreach association, research institutes, private companies, universities, “grandes écoles” and student associations.
Friday, October 12 is reserved for school (primary and secondary), but on Saturday and Sunday, entry is free for the general public:
- Saturday 13th October: from 14h to 18h
- Sunday, October 14: from 11h to 18h
