SUM2025
The 19th SOLEIL Users’ Meeting will take place on Monday January 27th and Tuesday 28th, 2025 at SOLEIL.
This invaluable forum for the synchrotron radiation users’ community will provide the opportunity to exchange and learn about the evolution of the machine and the beamlines.
It will be also the occasion to share scientific, technical and practical issues about the synchrotron radiation use.
This year, the Comittee is offering a revised programme to address your feedback, including a reorganisation of the parallel sessions.
The plenary talks will cover recent research highlights of SOLEIL in the following areas:
- Cultural heritage
- Electronic and magnetic properties of matter
Scientific communications will be presented during three parallel sessions, selected from the submitted abstracts.
In the afternoon of January 27th, 2025 a social time and scientific exchange will be held at SOLEIL, including the poster session, stands from commercial exhibitors and the dinner buffet.
Satellites and tutorial will also be organised on site on tuesday afternoon the 28th of January, 2025. Details about the tutorial will be communicated later.

Roger Fourme Prize
The best poster presented by a student will receive a prize offered by SOLEIL
This is a mission to a congress up to 1000 € (with original tickets).
The Award will be held on January 27th, 2025 evening, during the dinner.
For the Best Poster Award, the attendence of the candidate is requested.
The candidates will be avaluated on the following criteria:
- Content quality
- Impact of synchrotron experiments for your project
- Clarity and organisation
- Visual appeal
- Presentation skills
- Synthesis of information
The poster oral presentation in front of the jury shoud not exceed 5 minutes.
