The GDR "bio-engineering interfaces" and SOLEIL are organizing on October 9th 2018, the 5th thematic day of the GDR at the Synchrotron SOLEIL (the Orme des Merisiers, Saint-Aubin).
The bio-engineering of the interfaces aims at controlling the physicochemical and biochemical properties of the interfaces of the materials to trigger specific interactions. The ability to characterize interfaces is therefore a major issue.
The objectives of this thematic day are to demonstrate the potential of SOLEIL synchrotron radiation in the study at the biological materials-systems interface and to reinforce or initiate collaborations..
The morning will be dedicated to the presentation of beam lines followed by visits in the afternoon.
