COHERENCE-2016

The International Workshop on Phase Retrieval and Coherent Scattering, now a biennal conference, first took place first at Lawrence Berkeley Lab. in May 2001 and is traditionally held in a waterside location (Palm Cove, Porquerolles, Asilomar, Warnemüde Fukuoka, and Evanston). The 2016 edition will be held in France, in the conference center “Le Grand Large”, in front of the sea, in the corsair city of Saint Malo, top tourist and historic spot of Brittany located 400 km from Paris and 60 km from the famous Mont Saint Michel.

A team of French researchers has gathered around synchrotron-SOLEIL to organize this 2016   edition. As for the previous editions, the topics addressed will be coherent imaging, structure   and dynamics, theorical and computational methods and progress in new X or XUV sources, from   high brilliance synchrotron to X-ray free electron lasers.

Exhibition and sponsoring information

Companies willing to participate in the industrial exhibition or the sponsoring of the workshop can choose one or several of the following options.

1. Commercial booth at the exhibition, 1500 € (excluding VAT)

This offer includes an area of 6 m² with 1 table (~1.20x0.60 m), 2 chairs, power supply, one board for commercial posters, one attendance fee to the workshop, your company logo and link on the conference website and 1 color page for advertising in the on-line Book of Abstracts (A4 format). Please, note that there will be no paper copy of the book of abstracts.

The company will have to supply the name of the participant, for this name will be registered in the Invoice/Receipt. A second attendance fee can be obtained at the special price of 400 € (excluding VAT). Only one company per table will be accepted.

Lunches and coffee breaks

The social program: welcome reception on Tuesday and the conference dinner (limited number of participants).

2. Advertising on website, 500 € (excluding VAT)

This offer includes: your company logo and link on the conference website and 1 color page for advertising in the on-line Book of Abstracts (A4 format). Please, note that there will be no paper copy of the book of abstracts.

3. Sponsor of one of the social events:

Your company can sponsor one or several of the events scheduled in the social program:

The welcome reception on Tuesday evening, 7th of June 2016, minimum 800 € (excluding VAT).

The conference dinner in a restaurant with a panoramic sea views near the ramparts of the Corsair city on the evening of Thursday, 9th of June 2016, minimum 1000 € (excluding VAT)

Location

The conference will be held in the French town of Saint-Malo on the north coast of Brittany. Saint Malo is the city from where one of its sons, Jacques Cartier, left to navigate round the world and discovered Canada. The conference venue is the “Grand Large” convention center overlooking the coast and the walls of Saint-Malo built in the 17th century by the famous architect Vauban. A high-tech auditorium with 190 seats will host sessions. There will also be several rooms available and exhibition halls for exhibitors and poster sessions. Meals will be served in the dining area offering panoramic views of the ramparts and the sea. Saint-Malo, with its imposing gray granite walls and historic streets, is one of the most charming tourist spots in France. Saint-Malo provides an abundant and diverse range of accommodation and easy access by fast train or plane.
