The meeting “UltraSync" on the exploration and control of electron bunch dynamics in Synchrotron light sources” will be held at Synchrotron SOLEIL on May 30th- June 1st, 2022.
The venue will be the Synchrotron SOLEIL, the French Synchrotron radiation facility near Paris and rooms will be booked at the soleil guesthouse to accommodate the participants.
The meeting will devote time to discussions and presentations. Therefore we expect participants to not only report some accomplished results, but also show some unsolved problems and thus stimulate discussion and synergy between groups.
The topics will be covered in 4 sessions :
Session 1 : SOLEIL, KARA and PhLAM Facility status
Session 2 : CONTROL (feedback and chamber, etc.)
Session 3 : Electro Optics Sampling
Session 4: Perspective/collaboration/future
Travel on Monday morning is expected as we will start Monday the 30th at 14:30 with the scientific program. We also plan to offer a short visit of the SOLEIL facility and the AILES beamline.
