Soon available at SOLEIL: a new tomography technique

Timm Weitkamp is the scientist in charge of NANOTOMOGRAPHY, one of two long SOLEIL beamlines, with NANOSCOPIUM, dedicated to cutting-edge nano-imaging using hard X-rays. Timm has developed a new technique that significantly enhances the contrast in images of traditionally "difficult" samples, such as biological soft tissue or nanostructures. Results obtained with this technique, in collaboration with several research groups (ESRF, PSI, TUM, KIT), have just been published in PNAS*.
