There are at SOLEIL several transverse programmes that are not associated to a particular beamline. The current list is:
Ancient and historical materials
that will make use of many beamlines: 
 
2D MICRO-IMAGING LUCIA, DIFFABS, SMIS, MICROSCOPIUM, DISCO 
Microtomography HP
X-ray absorption and diffraction SAMBA, DIFFABS, LUCIA, MICROSCOPIUM

 
BioXAS (X-ray absorption spectroscopy on biomolecules)
that will be implemented on:

SAMBA, PROXIMA I, LUCIA and a dedicated laboratory

 
Theoretical Biophysics, simulations and intensive computing (associated team)

that will use the SOLEIL cluster of computers.
