The Workshop “New experimental and theoretical developments in molecular spectroscopy. Atmospheric and Astrophysical applications” will be held at SOLEIL from November 22nd lunchtime until 23rd evening.
The goal of the workshop is to gather a broad international community of scientists in the field of gas phase molecular spectroscopy, from the THz to the VUV range, around the French Synchrotron SOLEIL. It will emphasize the needs and potential collective actions related to this cross-disciplinary field with potential applications in astrophysics, astrochemistry, biology and atmospheric photodynamics.
In particular, several talks and discussions will be centred around recent experimental developments and striking results obtained on the THz AILES and VUV DESIRS beamlines of SOLEIL, as well as on the synchrotron facilities BESSY (Berlin), Swiss Light Source (Villigen) and the Canadian Light Source (Saskatoon).
Another part of the workshop will be dedicated to laboratory sources complementary to synchrotron sources so that a broad panel of spectroscopic tools is presented. Finally, theoretical and analytical methods for interpreting dense and complex spectra will also be presented.
Our aim is to provide the spectroscopy community with a better knowledge of the possible new experimental and theoretical developments around synchrotron and laboratory sources.
This workshop offers to your company a devoted place for discussion with about 80-100 expected participants. During the event we offer a few exhibition areas to companies interested in presenting their products located in the Hall of the Main building of SOLEIL. The workshop participants will have the opportunity to discuss with you and visit your presenting booth at anytime and especially during the poster session and the 3 coffee breaks.
The area available, of about 4 m2, includes one table and 4 chairs.
A poster panel is at Companies disposal, giving the opportunity for easy interaction between exhibitors, visitors, attendees and SOLEIL staff.
These services are proposed in the 850 € without taxes (1016,60 € all taxes included), which includes:
• The exhibition area and a poster panel;
• for 2 persons : access to plenary and poster sessions, the abstracts booklet, coffee-breaks, and the lunches (November 22nd and 23rd).
The exhibitors can also insert an advertising page into the abstract booklet of the workshop distributed to all the participants, for a supplementary 200 € without taxes (239,20 € all taxes included) amount.
