The purpose of this workshop is to report on the latest advances obtained thanks to synchrotron radiation in the field of surfaces and nano-objects.
About 10 invited talks will give a survey on the study of structural, electronic and magnetic properties of nano-objects at surfaces. The talks will concern studies performed by means of Photoelectron Spectroscopy (PES), X-ray Photo-Emission Electron Microscopy (XPEEM), X ray Magnetic Circular Dichroism (XMCD), Grazing Incidence X-ray Diffraction (GIXD), Grazing Incidence X-ray Small Angle Scattering (GISAXS) and Coherent X-ray Diffraction (CXD). Complementary approaches by Scanning Tunnelling Microscopy (STM) and numerical simulations will be presented.
A poster session is organised to allow thorough discussions between attendees to this workshop.
