Most of books are not immediately available to be borrowed or to be consulted. In these cases you should address a request to the librarian (see here below lending conditions).
 
In the library, books are classified according to the (Pacs Number Classification Scheme) and by the first three letters of the author’s name.

SOLEIL Scientific publications and conference proceedings are available via the OPAC catalogue (PDF format is open only via intranet connexion). Searches can be made based on author name, title, year or beam-line.

Lending Conditions

Free lending is reserved to SOLEIL staff, researchers and students. For users: consultation is only possible on the spot.

For any lending or return, please contact the Librarian
Books and thesis lending, for works marked with a red sticker, is limited to 7 days.
Books and thesis lending, for works marked with a blue sticker, is limited to 30 days.
Articles, handbooks and reference works may bot be borrowed and cannot be removed from the library.

The lending can be renewed by coming to the library, by sending an email to or calling the librarian, provided the book has not been reserved by another library user.
