ETL (Extract Transform Load)
Data Studio is used to build a data warehouse to make it easier to use data from various different applications. This software is also used for batch processing and for transferring data between applications.
Statistics and dashboards
SOLEIL uses Business Objects to produce statistics with universes formed from data from the data warehouse. Statistical dashboards are now in place for purchasing, visits to SOLEIL, assignments, CMMS, SUN set, CMMS stock levels, Machine operators, buildings and other areas.
Wikis

Wikis have been established in conjunction with the System and Networks (SR) group. Tikiwiki was selected for this task due to its adaptability.

There is an external wiki specifically for SOLEIL users, giving information on the TWIST application to retrieve experimental data and instructions on how to connect laptops to beamline networks. At last, an internal wiki is used for manuals, procedures and documentation.

Workshops and conferences
There are two applications for registering for events organized by SOLEIL. The software collects the data needed to organize the event and has the ability to accept on-line payments by debit card. It is linked to another application for event management.
