The aim of this workshop is to review the research topics of a CNRS Scientific Collaboration Project (PICS) and related topics. It will be mainly focused on phase transitions, as well as electronic correlations and other many-body effects at surfaces and interfaces. New perspectives related to nano-objects and Dirac matter will be explored.
The workshop will be held 12th and 13th of January 2012 at SOLEIL synchrotron.
