The 6th SOLEIL Users’ Meeting will take place on January 19th and 20th, 2011 at Polytechnique (Palaiseau) and at SOLEIL.
  
This indispensable meeting for the community of synchrotron radiation users will be the occasion to have the latest information about the machine, about beamlines performances, and to have an overview of the latest scientific results obtained at SOLEIL.
 
It will consist in 3 plenary lectures covering all research themes of SOLEIL users’ community.
  
After the success of the parallel sessions last year, the Users Organisation has decided to devote to them a complete half-day while maintaining the principle of roundtables in each community. The parallel sessions will consist on original scientific presentations, selected from submitted abstracts before the 1st December 2010. Round tables will provide the opportunity for interactions between users and beamlines managers.
  
A convivial time will be held at SOLEIL on January 19th afternoon with the posters session, the commercial exhibitions, the visit of SOLEIL and the dinner buffet.
