Welcome to the HAXPES workshop at SOLEIL.

The field of high-energy photoemission spectroscopy is rapidly emerging. At SOLEIL facility the build-up of the GALAXIES beamline will significantly increase the possibilities for research in this area.
We will organize an international workshop on HAXPES as a satellite of the 5th Users Meeting of SOLEIL.

The meeting will take place at SOLEIL January 18-19, 2010  and we welcome all types of contributions; instrument development; basic and applied research.
We hope to cover both gas phase and solid-state research as well as research on nano-structured and soft materials.

We will also organize an industrial session.
