The 5th SOLEIL Users’ Meeting took place on January 20th and 21st, 2010 at Polytechnique (Palaiseau) and at SOLEIL.

This indispensable meeting for the community of synchrotron radiation users was the occasion to have the latest information about the machine, about beamlines performances, and to have an overview of the latest scientific results obtained at SOLEIL.

It consisted in 6 plenary lectures covering all research themes of SOLEIL users’ community.

This year, the Users Organisation had decided to organise parallel sessions half a day in order to encourage optimal interactions among each community. These included original scientific presentations, selected from submitted abstracts, and discussions with beamlines managers.

The posters session, the commercial exhibitions, the visit of SOLEIL and the dinner buffet have been organised at SOLEIL on January 20th afternoon.
