SOLEIL actively supports research projects and studies to characterise works and samples for cultural heritage and archaeology. To this end, a specially-dedicated interface was created in 2004. The SOLEIL Archaeology and Heritage Liaison Office (HALO) keeps you informed about the potential of synchrotron experiments and provide instrumental expertise in direct collaboration with SOLEIL beamline scientists, including the study of necessary adaptations. SOLEIL collaborates with archaeology and heritage research centers, directly and as part of national and European programmes.
The CHARISMA project of the European Commission supports the access of European users at SOLEIL / IPANEMA for Cultural Heritage.
